Yolanda Favors of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha’s Family Matters’ dies

Yolanda “Londie” Favors, Porsha Williams‘ cousin who appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Porsha’s Family Matters, died on Aug, 7 at age 34. A cause of death has not been released.

Williams posted a tribute to Favors on Instagram, beginning with a quote from author E.A. Bucchianeri, “So it’s true, when all is said and done, grief is the price we pay for love.”

“Londie – you were our best friend, our sister, our aunt, our cousin, and so much more,” Williams wrote, adding a quote from author Renee Wood, “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, and you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.”

Williams continued, “The impact and value you provided all of us during your time here was tremendous, we know that your spirit will always be with us every day guiding us through this difficult time and what’s still to come. For that, we’re eternally grateful. Love you always, Dear Baby Cousin.”

Favors was featured on Williams’ RHOA spinoff series, Porsha’s Family Matters, which aired from 2021 to 2022 on Bravo. She would have celebrated her 35th birthday on Aug. 21.

Several of Williams’ RHOA costars, past and present, added their condolences in the comments section.

“My sincerest condolences to you and your family. There is an old adage ‘only the good die young’ and Londie was better than good she was great,” Phaedra Parks wrote. “May God be pleased with her works and may peace, understanding and unspeakable joy be yours always.”

“Wow. heartbroken,” Cynthia Bailey added. “She was always so kind, sweet and full of love. she will be missed by all. sending my heartfelt & deepest condolences to the family. I am so sorry for your loss.”

Kandi Burruss wrote, “She was a beautiful person! I’m sorry for your loss.” And Kenya Moore commented with three dove emojis.

A representative from Bravo did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly‘s request for comment.
