Adam Sandler and Wife Jackie Make ‘Love You’ Premiere a Date Night

Adam Sandler and his wife, Jackie Sandler, had a one-of-a-kind date night on Tuesday!

The 57-year-old actor and his wife were all smiles as they attended the New York City premiere of his new standup special, Love You.

Adam stuck with his signature casual style, wearing a yellow polo shirt and red pants. Jackie, 49, looked elegant in all-black dress.

Love You marks Adam’s return to the stage. His last standup special, 100% Fresh, was released in 2018.

The new project is also Josh Safdie’s standup directorial debut. They previously worked together on the 2019 crime drama Uncut Gems, which was directed by Josh and his brother Benny Safdie.

In the teaser for Love You, the Grown Ups actor addresses the crowd, saying, “I talk a lot, and then I sing, and we do a bunch of s—. So alright, here it goes.”

It’s been a busy couple of months for the performer after the premiere of his Netflix film Spaceman, in which he played an astronaut working to save his marriage on Earth from far beyond the confines of his home planet.

In February, he also accepted the People’s Icon Award at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards with a hilarious acceptance speech that gave a nod to PEOPLE.

“My name is Adam Sandler and I am the sexiest man alive, can I get a hell yeah?” he began, reading his pre-written speech where he joked that he had earned PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive title.

He continued: “To the PEOPLE Magazine’s academy members of hotness and sexual attractiveness, I would like to say thank you for recognizing me as the man who made our entire country the horniest this year and was by far the most-talked-about person in the bedroom by couples or throuples during fantasy role plays and sloppy time. Can I get another hell yeah?”
